Despite the circumstances of your birth, you were born with the seed of purpose. There have been many influences and voices that have attempted to circumvent the course of the preordained purpose God had in mind when you were conceived in your mother’s womb. However, if you align your life with the Word of God, listen and obey His voice, your purpose will germinate and come to fruition.
The sage King Solomon declared: “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails” Proverbs 18:21NIV
Realizing purpose requires effort. Your faith in your purpose becoming a reality is insufficient without your effort. The Epistle of James, penned by the brother of Jesus reveals: “In the same way, faith by itself, if it not accompanied by actions, is dead.” James 2:17 NIV
Consider the following actions to purpose:
1. Perceive your purpose
2. Pursue your purpose
3. Prepare for purpose
4. Persist to purpose
5. Propel to purpose
Motivational speaker Les Brown stated, “The graveyard is the richest place on earth, because it is here that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sang, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dreams.”
Don’t die with your purpose unrealized. Selah`
